Leaving the Wattwiller waterworks on the right, the trail follows the incline of a gentle slope, cutting through a beautiful expanse of bright green meadow. An atypical building stands out on the site of the Blaser farm. A one-of-a-kind wooden chalet flanked by two land extensions with circular lines, the Élément Terre gîte in Brackets has just been completed and received the “Insolite” label from the Gîtes de France chain.
When we open the door with Stephanie Blaser, who lives on the farm with her farmer husband Thierry, we are first struck by the brightness and high ceilings of the living room. Aerial chandeliers in cardboard mache with an ultra-poetic aesthetic float in the space facing the large bay windows opening to the Vosges balloons.
